Republic of China (Taiwan) Chunghwa Post was issued a piece of Peony flowers ATM postage label on March 18, 2011, the Peony ATM artwork was based on an ancient peony flowers painting from Taipei National Palace Museum (NPM), the peony ATM art works was modified the original painting by Chunghwa Post philatelic service without National Palace Museum authority official written permission, after months public circulating, the NPM was suddenly recognized the difference of the peony ATM designs and NPM authority official asked Chunghwa Post must terminated circulating, during long discussions by NPM and Chunghwa Post, the final negotiate was broken, the Chunghwa Post must suspended circulating immediately, and calling back all the blank labels, based on an unconfirmed information source, there are more than 130,000 pieces blank labels (65 rolls) was return back to the GPO philatelic service, the total printed quantity in 800,000 pieces (400 rolls) by the Netherlands Joh Enschede, the Chunghwa Post ATM management always makes a lot of troubles during last few years, currently most of the ATM machines was closed service.
