Republic of China (Taiwan) GPO was first issue the Taiwan black bear ATM postage labels on July 21, 2005.
The black bear ATM was printed by the Netherlands Joh Enschede in total quantity of 4,600,000 pieces (2000 pieces per roll), the black bear ATM was almost fully occupied all the Taiwan ATM machines from 2005 to yet, there are too many different special overprinted commemorative issues, also exclsuive limited selected color prints during last few years, after the 2009 Deaflympics Taipei special prints on September 2009, all the black bear ATM labels will meerly remaining a very small amount of labels from all the 30 units ATM machines, so we are just starting to count down the leave of black bear from all the ATM machines.
