Finally, the new ATM was public circulated on December 15, 2008 8:00am from all the 30 units ATM machines, that the ATM in depicted with two pigeons to delivering postal letter, in represent the ROC (Taiwan) and mainland China will re-opening and normalization of postal communications, all the communications was complete blocked since 1949.
The new ATM issue was proceeded in high confidential during all the printing and final approval procedures, the final confirmed information was official announced by ROC (Taiwan) GPO on December 14, 2008 16:oo (Sunday afternoon), just less than half day before the official issue date.
The pigeons ATM will be the first Taiwan domestic printed ATM postage labels, all the previous issued ATM was printed by well-known stamps printers from Switzerland Helior Courvosier and the Netherlands Zon Enschde
